I left my heart in San Francisco, but my soul dances in Oakland! ​ San Francisco is my birth city and its always a joy coming back home to the Bay Area, and experiencing its many hidden treasures. the bay area stretches from Calistoga (Napa County as far as Gilroy just a ways past San Jose. ​ For better clarity, they break the bay in 5 parts, North bay, East bay, South bay, Peninsula and San Francisco, (San Francisco is its own county and city)

San Francisco and Oakland can be 10-15 degrees apart with Oakland being warmer and San Jose could be even warmer than Oakland during some seasons. ​ I've been fortune enough to have traveled to most airports in California and they all have their distinct flair, Oak airport is totally different than SFO and SJO is different as well. ​ I found that by utilizing the public transportation it shirks the city sort of speak and one can save a few hundred dollars by flying in and out of OAK or SJO, but for this trip I flew into SFO and took the BART across the bay to Oakland. ​

I Have to say BART made the trip so much easier, the gate is super close to the Bart train and it was about a 25- 35 minute ride across the bay, where as if I was to drive it would have taken at least 1 hour and a half
